At Emmanuel, we know that God is not some far-off, disinterested observer because over and over we have seen Him powerfully at work changing lives among us. We believe that a relationship with God is far more important and ultimately more satisfying than money, fame, power or anything else this world has to offer. BIBLE means that we are a people dedicated to the Word of God. At Emmanuel, we know that God has expressed Himself in a very special way through this unique book. His person, His programs and His plans are revealed within its pages which makes it both profound and constantly relevant for daily living. CHURCH means that we are a people dedicated to real relationships. At Emmanuel, we know that God did not design us to live in isolation. We are social beings who need the support and friendship that only a caring Christian community can provide.
